My Pompom Poncho design was published in Simply Knitting magazine issue 235 March 2023.

I do like a poncho! They are great to throw on if you’re popping out for a walk or to the shops. To make this one more interesting design-wise, I knitted the sample in 2 colours of Scheepjes Terrazzo yarn which I used in bobbled stripes. I also added a hood with a drawstring tie, ending in pompoms.

The Scheejes yarn is a recycled wool and viscose mix that comes in loads of gorgeous colours.

I’ve included some of my own photos here, but It’s difficult to photo a hood on a headless stand!
