Hampton beanie and mitts
This beanie and mitts/armwarmers were made with left-over yarn from my sample for Hampton jacket. I’ve used the same horizontal rib that I used for the jacket – a particular favourite of mine! I used the same stitch for my popular Tierney pattern. It’s very easy to work and gives a lovely springy texture – perfect for this beanie and mitts! For these designs I used West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece DK wool, a beautifully soft yarn that comes in gorgeous rich colours. Meanwhile, I’ve given exact amounts of each colour used in the written instructions, so knitters may be able to use leftover bits of yarn!
