Cicely wrap cardi

Inspired by the fashion style of the early 20th century – particularly the group of writers, artists and intellectuals known as The Bloomsbury Group – this long-line wrap cardigan has a tie belt and simple embroidery at the neck and cuffs.

The main body is worked in reverse stocking stitch and it has a simple twisted rib which is worked in a flattering shape at the front.

Yarn:

The cardigan is knitted using Erika Knight British Blue 100 wool DK

 

Sizes & yarn quantities:

The pattern gives instructions for sizes 32- 48ins/81.5- 122cm bust

6 – 10 x 100g skeins of yarn

Tension: 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4ins in stocking stitch

Needles etc: 3.75mm (US 5) needles; 4mm (US 6) – needles
