Inspired by the fashion style of the early 20th century – particularly the group of writers, artists and intellectuals known as The Bloomsbury Group – this long, loose tunic has a sailor collar and is decorated with a simple moss stitch texture pattern. The pattern also gives the option of a neck tie-lacing.

The main body is worked in stocking stitch.

The tunic is knitted using Erika Knight British Blue 100 wool DK

 

Sizes & yarn quantities:

The pattern gives instructions for sizes 30- 48ins/76- 122cm bust

5 – 8 x 100g skeins of yarn

Tension: 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4ins in stocking stitch

Needles etc: 3.75mm (US 5) needles; 4mm (US 6) – needles
