Virginia

Virginia is a flattering fitted jumper with an interesting rib and openwork pattern, a deep fitted rib and a stylish self-belt.

The jumper is knitted in a 4ply wool.

Yarn: The jumper was originally knitted in Sublime extra fine merino 4ply (100% merino wool, 175m/191yds per 50g ball) but this is no longer available. Any wool yarn with a similar meterage/yardage could be substituted (it must have some stretch in it)

Sizes & yarn quantities: The pattern gives instructions for sizes 32-42ins/81-107cm bust and the jumper takes 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10 balls of yarn

Tension: 28sts and 36 rows to 4ins (10cms) over stocking stitch using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.

Needles etc: pair each of 2.75mm (US 2) and 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles; 3.25mm short circular needle for neck rib
